Prevailing Wage State prevailing wages apply to all public works contracts as set forth in Labor Code Sections 1720, 1720.2, 1720.3, 1720.4 and 1771. The contractor shall comply with, and shall include in its contracts with its contractors requirements that its contractors and their subcontractors shall ensure compliance with all reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the applicable prevailing wage statutes and regulations. The contractor must be aware of and shall comply with the provisions of the City of Oakland and Redevelopment Agency's prevailing wage requirements contained in Resolution No. 87-4 CMS passed on January 20, 1987 or Resolution 57103 CMS, passed March 28, 1978 copies of which are on file with the Division of Contract Compliance & Employment Services.
